We’re excited to announce - Sundays at Ohakuri Rise!

Our Friday and Saturday weddings take precedence, but we’re excited to offer Sunday weddings at a special discounted rate.

A few key differences:
• Rehearsal: A day-before rehearsal isn’t possible.
• Venue Access: Entry to the venue is from 12pm on the Sunday.
• Apartment Access: The apartment is available for your use, with check-in from 2pm.

Sunday weddings still capture the Ohakuri Rise experience—just with a few adjustments and a little saving.

Inclusions

  • This includes full exclusive venue hire from 12pm - 11.30pm Sunday.

  • Transport

    You can arrange busses and or helicopters at your own expense.

    Busses: Both Tranzit and GoBus will come out.

    *You can expect to pay from $1100 for a return 48 seater bus to Taupo

    Helicopters: Escape aviation

    *You can expect to pay from $2000 for a return flight to Taupo (6 seater), unless you get on their 2025, open day special.

    Apartment

    Our one bedroom apartment has a rate of $599 per night. but will only be available for 2pm check in for Sunday weddings.

  • This package includes a $2000 bar tab of our standard drink range.

    You can choose to extend this or move to cash bar (guests pay).

Venue hire and $2000 bar tab (Guest sizes: min50 max180) *enquire if you have a guest size out of this range.

Total cost for a wedding of 50 for; venue hire, $2000 bar tab, Canapés and a Tapas menu is:

Add $100 per additional guest and consider extending the bar tab.
